Creating Your World With Line and Shape
The NeuroComposition Studio
Learn to compose what comes next.
Take a topic that matters to you and bring it onto the page. Through NeuroComposition, you'll learn to model that topic visually, explore it through shape, relationship, and composition, and discover possibilities you may not have been able to think your way into.
Neurographica® NeuroComposition Course | Live Course + Studio
September 17 – October 8, 2026
Thursdays | 7:00–9:00 PM Central Time
Live via Zoom
We'll meet for four consecutive Thursday evenings. Class recordings will be added to the Studio, so you can catch up or revisit the material if you can't attend a session live.
Your complete class calendar, links, recordings and bonus materials will be available inside the NeuroComposition Studio.
No art experience needed. Just simple tools and a willingness to learn.
What Is NeuroComposition?
The foundational practices of Neurographica® give us powerful ways to work with what is already present—a reaction, a limitation, an emotion, or a pattern that keeps repeating.
NeuroComposition asks a different question: What else is possible?
NeuroComposition introduces the principles of visual composition as a way to model and explore a topic.
You'll work with shape, placement, proportion, movement, contrast, rhythm, space, and relationship—not simply to create a more interesting drawing, but to see your topic from perspectives that may not have been available to you before.
As the composition changes, your perception of the topic can change with it. A new thought may emerge. A different perspective may become visible. A decision may become clearer. Or you may discover an action you hadn't previously considered.
You aren't drawing the answer. You're creating the conditions in which new possibilities can become perceptible.
From Topic to Choice
NeuroComposition gives you another way to explore the questions you can't always think your way through.
From Regulation to Conscious Creation
REGULATE → INTEGRATE → CREATE
NeuroComposition builds on the core work of the Neurographica® Basic User Course by moving beyond working with what is already present to exploring what could be.
It's an opportunity to practice something we encounter every day:
How do I choose what comes next when the familiar pattern isn't choosing for me?
What You'll Explore
The NeuroComposition Course and Studio is built around the core principles and practices of Neurographica®, with additional experiential exercises that bring composition off the page and into direct experience.
The Visual Language of Composition
Explore circles, squares, triangles, Neurographic lines, and the ways visual elements communicate and relate.
Space, Structure & Movement
Work with placement, proportion, foreground and background, axes, diagonals, and the structures that create stability or movement within a composition.
Relationship, Rhythm & Contrast
Explore repetition, contrast and nuance, symmetry and asymmetry, and the ways relationships between elements influence the whole.
Composition as a Model
Bring these principles together to create Neurographic compositions that allow you to explore real topics, questions, and possibilities in a new way.
Inside the NeuroComposition Studio
The NeuroComposition Studio begins as a live course experience, giving us the opportunity to learn, draw, experiment, and explore together. Core classes will be recorded and added to the Studio for continued access.
Your enrollment includes:
The complete Neurographica® NeuroComposition curriculum
Live teaching sessions + class recordings
Guided Neurographic drawing experiences

Monthly live Studio Q&A / Office Hours
The Studio gives you structure when you need it, room to experiment when you don't, and a place to bring the questions that arise as your practice develops.
Is the NeuroComposition Studio for You?
This Studio may be a good fit if...
You have some experience with Neurographica® and are ready to move beyond the foundational practices.
You're curious about how composition can help you explore a topic rather than simply illustrate it.
You enjoy learning through experimentation and discovery—not just following a prescribed drawing.
You want greater confidence creating your own Neurographic compositions and working with topics that matter to you.
Or you're simply curious about what might become visible when you give yourself another way to explore the questions you're already carrying.
You don't need to know the answer before you begin. That's actually the point.
Optional Certification & Personal Feedback
Certification is completely optional. You can take the full NeuroComposition Studio course without pursuing a certificate.
If you would like personal feedback on your work and an official Neurographica® Certificate of Completion, you may add the NeuroComposition Certification Review for $50.
The Certification Review includes:
Submission of the required NeuroComposition drawings
Personal instructor review and feedback
Private video feedback on your submitted work
Certificate of Completion once the current certification requirements have been successfully completed
You don't need to decide about certification when you enroll. Information about the certification process and how to add the review will be available inside the NeuroComposition Studio.
A Note About Neurographica® Certification
This Certificate of Completion recognizes your successful completion of the NeuroComposition curriculum and review requirements. It does not qualify you to teach Neurographica® or use Neurographica professionally with clients.
As a licensed Neurographica® Instructor, I am authorized to teach this curriculum and issue course certificates in accordance with the requirements applicable to my instructor license.
At present, my course certificates are accepted within the Neurographica community and by the Psychology of Creativity Institute toward progression into further professional training.
Because institutional policies and professional-training requirements are established independently and may change, if you intend to pursue Neurographica professional or Instructor training, I recommend confirming the current requirements directly with the Psychology of Creativity Institute.
